Masterpieces of Meditation
Meditative music of Maurice Durufle, including a cappella motets, exerpts from his "Missa Jubilo," poignant Gregorian chants and serene organ works. The celebration will culminate with the orchestral version of his hauntingly exquisite "Requiem."

Litchfield County Choral Union
Sing-In Fundraiser for Torrington Area Council of Churches Emergency Fund
LCCU is sponsoring a sing-in fundraiser for the Torrington Area Council of Churches Emergency Fund, featuring Faure's "Requiem" and an old-fashioned hymn sing. Music will be provided or you can bring your own. Rehearsals for the July concert (Mozart's Grand Mass in C Minor) will begin on May 2, 2005 at The Shed in Norfolk. All singers are invited to join. No age requirement and no audition!
Venue: St. Michael's Episcopal Church, 25 South Street, Litchfield at 4:00 PM.
